Paul Ruppert

Paul Ruppert has been a senior corporate executive, entrepreneur, product visionary and strategist in the global mobile industry driving immediate results that make an enduring commercial impact. He is an executive leader who jumps organizations multiple steps ahead through his success in start-ups, consultancies, rapid-growth enterprises and Fortune 50 firms. He leverages his success as an effective $160M P&L manager who has driven over $300 million in growth revenues over the last decade through international sales expansion, digital marketing, product development, business scaling, and M&A as a C level leader spanning messaging, iOT, OTT, cyber security and other mobile telecommunication services.

He‘s authored two patents on SMS global interoperability, served as an expert witness defending an industry leader in a class action law suit, and lead the development and launch of a mobile centric, cyber security solution which was awarded the “Best Cyber Security Solution” by the GSM Association.

His executive functional expertise spans strategy to operations, and innovation development through product launch; branding, digital marketing and demand generation; to selling, closing and global sales team management for revenue production. He has a global business perspective having visited 80 countries and lived in the US, France and China.

He is the founder and CEO of Global Point View Ltd, a strategy consultancy focused on market entry, revenue growth, product innovation, digital engagement, acquisition thesis, corporate alignment, and integration planning anticipating the changing demands of the mobile communications industry.

His Board and Advisory experience spans Corporate and Non-Profits governance including start-ups, global enterprises, government and university boards. 

Ruppert is both an engaging conference speaker and an insightful media resource having appeared on radio, television and in print. He has been quoted in The International Herald Tribune, The Washington Post, and other media outlets and addressed worldwide marketing, technical and policy audiences at over 35 industry conferences.

Prior to entering the mobile industry, he spent a decade crafting marketing and competitive strategies in the consumer goods and political arenas, focusing on public policy covering international trade, government finance, and technology development. He represented a technology trade association as a federal lobbyist, and developed and executed political marketing and communications plans on US House, Senate and Presidential campaigns. His government experience includes two presidential executive appointments, and legislative service to two U.S. Senators and a U.S. Cabinet Secretary.

Achieved 15% YOY Sales, spurred 84% increase in service usage adding $22M in sales from new and existing accounts in one year.  Established new global sales plan, structure and compensation plan. Developed Revenue Project Office, and personally initiated and ran key negotiations with Wells Fargo, Google, Facebook, and others. Increased lead gen by 60% YoY, creating revenue pipeline of $36M. Organized 1st international SMS interoperability platform, building $60M business unit from startup.
